The Kajang Dalam tribe is still very thick with their customs, so in the Ammatoa area they are not allowed to use electronic devices, yup there doesn’t use electricity at all, it’s still very traditional.

Bonjour....Hello Everyone
My name is Yesi Febryanti and you can call me Yesi, i from Makassar city. Now I'm 18 years old. My majority is Tour and Travel Bussines in Tourism Polytechnic of Makassar.
Well this is my first experience to make a blog. And this time i will story about my Local Culture Diversity Fieldtrip in Maros and Pangkep Regency. Lets start it....

DAY 1 AT MAROS REGENCY
The first day we all gathered at the Tourism Polytechnic of Makassar campus at 07.30am, after all gathered we did the roll call, prayed, and took a picture together. At exactly 08.00am we took the bus to the Karts Rock Mountain Rammang-Rammang, Maros Regency.

After arriving at Pier 1 Rammang-rammang Maros Regency, one by one we broaded a boat to get to Berua Village through the Pute River. On the banks of the Pute River is surrounded by Nipah and Mangrove Trees and Karts Rock. Around 25 minutes by boat, we finally arrived at Berua Village. The place is very beautiful, the Village of Berua is surrounded by the mountain of Karts and trees that adorn every the rock, the expanse of rice fields that have been harvested, house that can be counted on the fingers, making me even mo curious about the history of the Village.

After getting directions from the Advisor and Tour Leader, my group and me went around, the first attraction we visited was Diamonds Cave. We have to pay an entrance ticket of IDR 5,000. After arriving at the Diamonds Cave we will see a beautiful view from above, a stretch of rice fields that stretch, dry trees which at that time was a long drought. And when entering the Diamond Cave, the access is quite narrow. In the Cave there are raw diamonds attached to the Rocks, there is also a human-shaped statue but only half the body, and a large squide-shaped statue. The information we got from the Local Guide there named Kak Suryani, The Cave was originally discovered by Mr.Muslimin (father of Kak Suryani) through a dream 3 times, out of curiosity, Mr.Muslimin dug a cave and found the diamonds. The Cave was opened to the public in 2015, after being researched twice by researchers from Germany and researchers from Indonesia.

After getting the information we went back together with the others groups for lunch break and prayer for the Muslim. After eating and praying, our group headed to the Kingkong Cave, when we arrived at the Kingkong Cave we saw a stone sculpture in the form of a Kingkong face. The statue formed a kingkong face because the monkeys took the karts stone said Kingkong Cave guards there.

After going from Kingkong Cave we headed to the Padang Ammarung. Feeling tired to walking from Kingkong Cave to Padang Ammarung, on top of Padang Ammarung which is quite high, we saw clearly Berua Village, truly beautiful, the natural beauty that God created made me grateful to be able to come to this Village, coconut trees and other trees adorn the beauty of Berua Village. A gentlebreeze that blew made the atmosphere cool at the time despite the blazing sun. We also had a chance to rest or a while, eating young coconut ice, talking with the seller's mother there, and also taking photos together. It's an experience that will not be forgotten

.
.
.

DAY 2 AT PANGKEP REGENCY
The second day, we gathered at 06.30am an hour earlier than the first day. We left for Pangkep Regency around 07.30am by bus. The first place we visited was the blacksmith.

At the blacksmith we got information about how to make machetes from scrap iron, the blacksmith belongs to Mr.Arif and Mrs.Masria. The blacksmith was passed down from generation to generation by his ancestors and is currently the 5th generation. When I was there I felt very hot due to the fire that was used in the procedure of making Machetes and Knives.

After getting information from the Blacksmith, we headed to the Pangkep Traditional Market.
When we arrived at the Market, we were directed to split up, me and my three friends went around the market, we went to the Fish and Chicken Shop, and we had the opportunity to interview one of the Chicken sellers, Mr Arsyad, we talked to exchange information and take a picture together.

After our meeting with Mr.Arsyad, we went around again and found Benno seller, Benno is typical food that comes from Pangkep Regency, this food is like popcorn but it is Pink and Green, made of corn and tastes sweet. The name of the Benno seller is Mr.Kadir. we saw the manufacturing process took about 3 minutes, which at that time we already using modern equipment. We were given little to taste the Benno, we also talked about making Benno and information about the market. We bought several packaged Benno's as a sign of gratitude because we had gotten the information.
After that we headed to a traditional cake seller. In the seller of trasitional cakes there are many types of cakes both traditional cakes from other districts of South Sulawesi. One of the cakes from Pangkep Regency is Apang Cakes which is made from fried rice and smeared with brown sugar around it, tasted good and sweet.

Around 11.00am we returned to the bus for going to the 88 Pangkep Restaurant for lunch and Muslim maen headed to the mosque for friday prayers.
.
.
.

After eating and praying, around 13.45 we headed to Batari. Batari is a management unit for boneless milkfish/bone fish managed by Mrs. Ratna Mentari. There we heard Mrs.Ratna explanation about the beginning of the Batari Unit being managed, there was a sentence from Mrs.Ratna motivated me to say "If you want to be a successful enterpreneur, you have to work hard, throw away your pride. Loss is common, in business ups and downs we will definitely experience, do not be discouraged, do not be ashamed to start it. Continue to develop new innovations if it's good, why not try it?" These words motivate me to become a young enterpreneur. Pray for me:)

When we was in Batari I also had the apportunity to practice how to pull out thorns/bones from milkfish. It was a really exciting experience, and also i find it quite difficult for people who do it for the first time. I really applaud the idea from Mrs.Ratna, bacause this idea is a brilliant idea and also useful for others. I also bought a product from Batari, which is Abon Milkfish without thorns, it tasted good, is very sost and tasty.

After we get information from Batari, we take a picture and returned to Tourism Polytechnic of Makassar.

Well, thats my first story of my tour. This is the best of my first experience, and i can't forget this trip. Thanks for reading my blog, and see you next my Tour story.
